Kelly Clarkson appears on the television series 12 days after the death of Brandon Blackstock

Kelly Clarkson returned to television, almost two weeks after the death of her ex-Mari Brandon Blackstock.

The Grammy Winner, 43, appeared in the first episode of his new NBC Limited series Songs and stories with Kelly Clarkson Tuesday August 19, 12 days after the death of Mélanoma Blackstock on August 7 at 48.

Clarkson prepared the episodes earlier this summer, before the death of Blackstock. The future payments of the series – which is inspired by a segment of the same name presented on his talk show The Kelly Clarkson Show – Featured Gloria Estefan, Teddy Swims and Lizzo.

Blackstock was buried in a celebration of life on Sunday, August 17, according to its Bill.

“Kelly and Brandon had their ups and downs, but in the end, he was the father of his children and she absolutely has a broken heart for them,” a source told people. “Her children are her whole world, and she stays strong for their good.”

Clarkson and Blackstock were married for seven years before separating in June 2020. He went out with the former assistant of Clarkson, Brittney Jones, at the time of his death, according to his Necrology and LinkedIn of Jones.
