After receiving her stadium 4 diagnosis, Katie gave an update on her treatment plan.

“The cancer in the liver comes from breast cancer,” she shared. “So, in basic terms, my breast cancer is the root and will be the goal. Six cycles of chemotherapy to start.”

But just before Katie started this treatment, she received another update.

“Today, I was supposed to start the chemo,” she wrote on Instagram on April 4, 2025. “I had my cold cap, my cold socks, snacks, covers, drugs, my aunt Lindsey flew to be with me this weekend for lymph knots, I came back as her negatives, even if my original samples were. As a result, Katie noted that “sounds as if chemo is out of the table now.”

“I should be excited about it,” she added. “But in two months, I continued to obtain an up -to -date diagnosis three times. I think that rigor and the second medical opinion played a decisive role in my trip at the start of cancer.”
