Katee Sackhoff lost all his confidence after the Mandalorian

Working on “The Mandalorian” destroyed all the confidence of Katee Sackhoff.

While speaking on his podcast “The Sackhoff Show”, the alum “Battlestar Galactica” opened up on work on the Disney + Star Wars series and how it has decimated her acting confidence. According to her, she just couldn’t understand her Bo-Katan character.

“I lost all my confidence after” Mandalorian “. All this, ”said Sackhoff. “I have always played two stages removed from myself, in a sense. It always seemed to me anchored in a part of my belly, of whom I was. Bo-Katan is far from whom I am as a human being. Her life, what she wants – I didn’t understand her. As much as I understood, I never felt it in my stomach. I never identified her with her. I couldn’t find it. ”

She continued: “It broke me. It just broke me. I started to doubt everything about myself. I am not a solid audition on a band, and I had to put myself on a band. I did not reserve anything. And for three years, I did not work, and it just destroyed my confidence.”

Sackhoff plays Bo -Katan – A Mandalorian has been fighting for the freedom of his people – for years. She began to express the character of the animated series “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” in 2012. She came back as the character in a second animated show – “Star Wars: Rebels” – in 2017.

Sackhoff then became one of the few actors in the voice who went to play their characters in a live Star Wars series. She joined “The Mandalorian” for a pair of episodes of the second season of the show before becoming a main actor of season 3 more divisenve.

Her next role finds her with the director “Oculus” Mike Flanagan. Sackhoff is expected to join Stephen King’s latest adaptation of Flanagan – this time, a television series based on “Carrie” streaming on the premium video.
