Karl Urban unleashes the “non -camera fury” in the first teaser; Complete trailer tomorrow

“They pissed him off. They f * CKED with his nuances. They should have brought more guys …”

The first official poster and teaser for Mortal Kombat II are now online, with the full trailer to arrive tomorrow.

The poster is only a redesigned vision of the classic MK Dragon Logo, but the teaser takes the form of a brilliantly cheesy and ott false trailer for Johnny Cage (Boys And Star Trek Alum Karl Urban) Last film, “UnAbed Fury”.

The arrogant B-Hollywood film star that has become the start of Heroic Freedom Fighter was created at the end of the first film when Cole Young (Lewis Tan) told his kombant compatriots that he knew someone “in Los Angeles” who could help them in the imminent revenge match against the forces of Outworld.

“You can finally see Johnny Cage,” Kombat Mortel Co-creator Ed Boon previously teased in a recent interview with EW. “His integration into the history and universe of Mortal Kombat is a large part of what this film explores. He is a Hollywood guy failed in this magical and ultra-violent thing.”

The first film did not exactly win an impeccable victory at the box office, but it worked fairly well – in particular as one of the first major outings of the COVIvin era with the start of a day and date streaming – to justify a suite.

The follow -up will also see the beginnings of other new heroes and bad guys from the longtime video game series. Martyn Ford (Red sonja) will play the wicked Emperor Shao Kahn, Desmond Chiam (Joy) will assume the role of the Edenian King Jerrod, Ana Thu Nguyen (Themselves) is on board as Queen Sindel and Damon Herriman (Once upon a time in Hollywood) will represent the demon of Netherrealm Quan Chi.

Almost all the main characters – even those who were (apparently) killed – from the first film will come back, with Lewis Tan as Cole Young, Jessica McNamee like Sonya Blade, Josh Lawson like Kano, Tadanobu Asano like Lord Raiden, Mehcad Brooks as Jax, Ludi Lin as Liu Kang, Chinge Sub -Zéro, and Max Huang Kung Lao.

“Chased by the formidable sub-zero warrior, the fighter of MMA Cole Young finds the sanctuary at the Lord Raiden temple. Training with experienced fighters Liu Kang, Kung Lao and the Mercenary Voyou Kano, Cole is preparing to stand with the greatest champions of the Earth to take the enemies of Outworld in a great battle for the universe.”

Simon Mcquaud is back on the director’s chair, working this time from Jeremy Slater. James Wan produced alongside Mcquad, Todd Garner, Michael Clear and E. Bennett Walsh.
