Karachi Kings won the draw and first chose to move against Islamabad United in the 30th and last HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) X championship, played at the Rawalpindi stadium.

“We are going to have a ball first tonight. It gives us the opportunity to try to continue something,” said David Warner during the draw. “I think that our questions were incredibly well this tournament, especially in the power game, and we know how this silhouette will play.”

The decision was influenced by conditions on the site, the captain noting that the surface seemed favorable to the questions. “It looks like a beautiful surface, I had a nice shine. As I said, I hope we can restrict Islamabad to a total competitive for us,” he added.

Tim Seifert replaced Ben McDermott in the Karachi range for the game.

“There have been a lot of high and high bullets that have passed in the air. So they are not easy to catch,” he said. “You don’t have time to really train when you have a quick turnaround, but for us, it’s just to play a full game, and I hope we can do it tonight.”
