Kamala Harris reveals Simon & Schuster treats with the book on a 107 -day campaign

One day after officially refused to throw his hat in the ring for the governor of California, Kamala Harris unveiled his new memory, a book after the tumultuous campaign of 107 days for the president in 2024.

“My new book is a look back on my experience leading the shortest presidential campaign in modern history,” wrote Harris. Volume, entitled 107 dayswill be published by Simon & Schuster on September 23.

“Since his departure from the office, I spent a lot of time thinking about these days, talking to my family, my friends and gathering my thoughts. Essentially, writing a newspaper that is this book,” said Harris in a video revealing the title. “I think there is value to share what I saw, what I learned and what I know that it will take to move forward.”

The 2024 Democratic candidate for the presidency has kept a relatively low profile since leaving the vice-president’s office in January when the Biden administration gave way to Trump’s team. Harris signed with Creative Artists Agency earlier this year with plans to focus on concerts and publication opportunities. (Biden also inked with CAA after leaving his duties.)

Harris previously had the author of two books, 2009 Smart on crime: the plan of a career prosecutor to make us safer (Chronicle) and 2019 The truths we organize: an American trip (Penguin Random House), before the launch of a presidential campaign in 2020, then as vice-president for four years.

Throughout the spring, the pretenders of the Governor’s race in California looked at if Harris would jump into the race to succeed Governor Gavin Newsom. “In the past few months, I have seriously thought of asking the inhabitants of California the privilege of serving as governor,” Harris wrote in a statement on July 30. “I love this state, their people and their promise. It is my home. But after a deep reflection, I decided that I will not present myself to the governor in this election.”
