Justin Bieber settles the financial dispute with Braun scooter for $ 26 million on the dates of “justice” abandoned tour

Justin Bieber concluded a financial settlement with the former manager Scooter Braun, agreeing to pay a total of $ 31.5 million to resolve a dispute resulting from the cancellation of his “justice” tour in 2022, according to several media reports.

Bieber, who has published an self-produced “Swag” album before the weekend, will pay $ 26 million in Braun to repay a promoter’s advance AEG Presents, TMZ reported for the first time, citing sources familiar with the financial dispute.

No trials have ever been brought. People confirmed the report on Saturday. The messages sent to lawyers for the parties were not immediately returned.

The Braun company, Hybé, covered the AEG reimbursement after the implementation of the tour. Bieber had agreed to reimburse the amount but would have made only one payment.

In addition, Bieber will pay $ 5.5 million to settle a part of $ 11 million in unpaid commissions due to Braun, bringing the total to $ 31.5 million.

Bieber sold its catalog of 291 songs in Hipgnosis Songs Capital for $ 200 million in 2022; A documentary from May 2025 said that the sale was caused by assembly debts after the cancellation of the tour.

Bieber and Braun ended their 15-year-old professional relationship in 2023. Sources told people that the Braun team had no involvement in Bieber’s current album and that the relationship had “followed its course”, although Braun published praise for the artist during the weekend, and expressed his admiration for “Swag”.

Braun announced his music management retirement in June 2024. He resigned from his post as CEO of Hybe America in July and is now a consultant.
