What it was like filming at Coney Island for Eleanor the Great::
Oh, it was very fun. I’m in Los Angeles now, but I lived in New York for 65 years. Condey Island was our first day of shooting and it was so perfect for the first day. [Co-star] Erin [Kellyman] And I was able to spend time together and everything. It was a very good choice to go there first. There were paparazzi because it was Scarlett Johansson, and we had a crowd. Wherever we stopped to shoot, we ended up with a lot of people who were standing there.
The place where she could travel to a million times and not to get bored:
Hawaii, on the big island. I love the big island. I am now four times and I relax more than I do it all over the world. I travel with a couple I know and that I love, so we are very comfortable together. They have a part with the Big Hilton there, [Waikoloa Village] In the middle of the island, but we always get different apartments.
Pool or beach:
I love a swimming pool. I have done the ocean many times, but I find it cold. Even in deep summer, it’s cold for me, so I really prefer to be in a swimming pool. I like to swim. I used to do a water exercise course when I lived in New York, but in California, I swim. If I did not work, I was in this pool for an hour. I’m very busy right now, so I haven’t had the chance to do so.
If she remembers her first first class flight:
Oh, I do it! I do! I was flying from New York to Saint-Louis to visit my mother and father in the south of Illinois, and for any reason, God knows why, I decided that I was going to go to first class. I think I had a job that gave me money, so I spent it there. We smoked like crazy in the cabin, which you could do then, but it was wonderful. I said to myself: “Oh my God, it’s so great.” I loved it. I was a young child who did not know what to expect. I remember that I was surprised when they served me a meal. I was changed forever.
