After a decade of development, Helmer Park Sunghoo of “Jujutsu Kaisen” prepares “Bullet / Bullet”, a animated series with high issues exclusively on Disney +.
The post-apocalyptic adventure follows Gear, an unwanted dealer with a double secret life as a thief. In partnership with Qu-0213, a multi-personality robot, and Shirokuma, a polar bear dependent on the game, the trio works like elite thieves for rental until the rescue of a mysterious girl puts them on a collision trajectory with the power structure of their company.
Park, who recently won the best original anime at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards, produces a script by Aki Kindaichi (“Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray”). The production presents characters’ conceptions of the director of chief animation Takahiro Yoshimatsu (“Future GPX Cyber Formula”, “Hunter X Hunter”) and Concept / Mechanical Conceptions of Hidetaka Tenjin (“Mobile Suit Gundam”, “Macross”).
Marina Inoue (“Tatck on Titan”, “Smile Precure!” Voucis Protagonist Gear, with Kazuhiro Yamaji (“Psycho-Pass”, “One-Punch man”) Shirokuma. The cast also includes Rie Kugimiya (“Gintama”, “Fullmetal alchemist”) five.
Rapper Chanmina contributes to the opening theme “Work Hard”, while the Rock Tokyo Rock Journal provides the end theme “Glass Door”.
Disney + will release the series of 16 episodes in two parts, the first eight episodes falling on July 16 and the last eight arriving on August 13. The series joins Disney +, in expansion of the Apac originals, alongside “Tokyo Revengers”, “Murai in Love”, “Phoenix: Eden17”, “Medalist” and Thriller live “Gannibal”.
Park previously produced the first season of “Jujutsu Kaisen” and his theatrical film, as well as “the god of high school”. The new series marks its first original anime project for years.
