JP Crawford struck a circuit of two points at the end of ninth round while the Seattle Mariners gathered to defeat the Texas Rangers on visit 4-3 Friday evening.
Dominic Canzone attracted a walk in the lead and Crawford bordered a quick 2-0 bullet by Robert Garcia (1-6) on the wall of the right field to give the sailors victory.
Eduard Bazardo (5-0) launched an unmistless round for victory.
The navies opened the scoring in the second round. With a withdrawal, Eugenio Suarez reached a chopper on the ground and Jorge Polanco bordered a simple right, putting runners on the corners. A promenade in Canzone loaded the bases before the Rangers starter, Jack Leiter, Crawford. The recruit Cole Young walked to bring Suarez back to home, but Leiter has withdrawn Randy Arozarena to get out of the jam without further damage.
The Rangers did all their damage against the starter of the sailors Logan Gilbert at the top of the third. Joc Pederson, who entered match 0 for 24 against the navy this season, led and was grazed on the hand by a field. Former Mariner Rowdy Tellez based a double on the first line, Pederson marking the first when Canzone swept the ball in the right field. Suarez gave himself up on the warning track to the center to end the Channel, failing the race equally in the third place.
Leiter granted two points on three strokes in 4 1/3 rounds, with three balls on bullets and seven stick withdrawals.
Gilbert made six rounds and granted three points on five strokes. He did not work a striker and advanced seven.
