Everything we think we know about Google Pixel 10 phones

Google is preparing its next equipment set and has already confirmed that the Pixel 10 series is launched this month. We even know what one of the phones looks like, thanks to the official image above.
But beyond the few songs that Google officially shared, there are a lot more think We know the Pixel 10 line thanks to leaks, from which the phones arrive – probably the 10, 10 pro, 10 pro XL and 10 pro Fold – to the changes of the camera, at American prices and perhaps even a long late Qi2 support.
Let’s start with a few cold stone facts. We know that the Pixel 10 line will be announced during an event produced by Google in New York on August 20, where the company will show “the last last people on our pixel, watches, buds and more”.
We also know that one of the telephones in the range will look like the image above, including this blue-gray finish. Aside from the color, this phone seems almost identical to the Pixel 9 Pro, to the flash sensor and the temperature inside the camera bar, confirming that Google does not change its design language.
This is all Google said with certainty, but here is everything we expect to see at the launch next month.
Triple cameras all around
The biggest surprise of this year seems to be a movement to upgrade the basic pixel 10 to a rear triple camera, including a telephoto lens for the first time, bringing it to the three pro models.
But before you excite you too much, know that there are drawbacks. To compensate for the additional cost – and perhaps to give you a reason to consider the upgrade of the pro – Google would have demoted the other cameras of the Pixel 10.
Android authority The reports that Google uses smaller sensors for the main camera of Pixel 10 and Ultrairs that Pixel 9 had, which means that the cameras capture less light. In fact, he will apparently use the same sensors as on the 9a pixel. This means that as that Google has made improvements elsewhere, the main and ultrairs of the Pixel 10 will be worse Only on the 9, but compensated by the addition of the telephoto lens. At least, the selfie camera must remain unchanged.
It also means that triple cameras on 10 pro and 10 pro XL – which will be apparently unchanged from the 9 Pro models – could be higher than 10 at all levels. The 10 Pro Fold camera will be comparable to the 10, using the same sensors for its main and telephotic shooters, and those that have been specific to selfie and ultrairs. This represents a very slight upgrade to the main camera in the fold, but the base 10 is the only model to obtain a real revision of the camera.
Google can also make unexpected decisions concerning the colors of the phones, according to official renderings disclosed by Android titles.
1/ /4
On the basic pixel 10, it means more bright colors than ever (and the confirmation of this triple camera). The site reports that the phone will be available in “obsidian”, Google’s standard black finish, as well as a vibrant blue called “Indigo”, a paler shade called “Frost”, and an almost fluorescent green double “Limoncello”.
On the other hand, the pro models seem deaf. The 10 pro and 10 pro XL come in the same black “obsidian”, plus the white “porcelain” back, a soft green called “jade”, and a gray blue called “moonstone”. You could recognize this shade of the official image of Google at the top.
Foreigners are the colors of the 10 Pro Fold. Android titles The reports that it only comes from two variants, but unlike last year, these are not in black and white. Instead, the fold will be apparently only available in “Moonstone” and “Jade”, which makes it the rare phone not to start black at all.
For more confirmation of these colors, another image disclosed from the Play Store shows the full range of pixels 10 with the three pro models all in “Moonstone” and the 10 in “Indigo”. The Evan Blass leak also shared several images of all phones in two distinct collections of images disclosed on X.
In July, the Wireless Power Consortium announced Qi2 25W, a faster version of the magnetic wireless load standard and promised the support of “major Android smartphones”. We think it means the Pixel 10 line.
Google has not supported Qi2 on its previous pixels, but there are good reasons to think that this could be about to change.
The first is that Android authority reported in June that Google is preparing an ecosystem of Qi2 magnetic accessories under the “Pixelsnap” brand, including two chargers and a stand. This was followed by subsequent leaks from a pixelsnap case of Android titlesAnd a recent image of a magnetic load washer shared by the Blass.
This last leak is undoubtedly the most important. Although we had previously thought that Google could follow Samsung to certify its phones ready for Qi2, which means that they would take care of the Qi2 load but would not contain the magnets, this image shows a magnetically engaging charger on the phone itself, which implies a full management of Qi2, magnets and all.
For more evidence of this, we are the size of the new handsets. Android titles claims to have the official dimensions and weights of the four phones, and everyone is heavier than the previous generation, and all except the XL are also thicker.
This could be because phones will have larger batteries, which several reports have suggested. But Google could also make room for the magnets necessary to allow the management of Qi2.
Boring, I know – each phone, each year, has an upgrade of the chipset. But we expect more Google this time.
Android authority reported on several occasions that for the new G5 Tensor G5 chip, Google moves from the manufacture of Samsung to TSMC, using the same N3E 3 Nm process that Apple uses for the iPhone 16 pro chip. With a few adjustments available to the basic, this should produce a significant boost in the processing power, fill the gap between pixels and competition.
Android authority The reports according to which Google develops several new IA imaging features, although some can be for the Pixel 11 of next year. “Speak-twweak” should be a voice-based photo editing tool, while “Sketch-to-Image” will be the pixel version of an already seen on Samsung phones.
The same site has reported separately that the Pixel 10 will have a new virtual assistant called “Pixel Sense”, once who would be called “Pixie”. Pixel Sense will use information from other Google applications to do tasks on your phone, make predictive suggestions to help you ask and learn your tastes better from all this data. Impressive, all of this will be treated on devices.
It looks like a more powerful version of multimodal actions that Google added to Gemini in January, but based on the name, there will remain an exclusive pixel.

These AI features should arrive alongside the Android updates that we know from Google E / S, such as the expressive overhaul of Big Material 3 and an office mode based on Samsung Dex.
If you fear that it seems that Google has not brought a lot of material upgrades this year, you can be reassured by the news that they probably do not change their prices either. A leak of Android titles Includes the alleged American prices for the four phones, and it is almost identical to that of last year.
According to rumors, the Pixel 10 will start at $ 799 for 128 GB of storage, or $ 899 for 256 GB. The 10 pro starts at $ 999 for 128 GB, increasing up to $ 1,449 for a 1 TB option.
The two larger phones could be the only models with price changes. The 10 Pro XL can see a price bump from $ 1,099 to $ 1,199, but it is only because Google deleted the 128 GB option from the phone, from 256 GB instead – and corresponding to the prices of 9 Pro XL at this storage level.
Meanwhile, the 10 Pro Fold can stick to a starting price of $ 1,799 for 256 GB of storage, but the leak suggests that Google adds a new option from 1 TB to $ 2,149.
Update, August 1: Adding leaks from a magnetic load washer and American prices.
