Josh Hartnett took the hospital after a car accident in Canada

Josh Hartnett was involved in a collision with a Royal Newfoundland Patrol Car in St. Johns last week, reports the CBC.

Hartnett was in St. Johns pulling on the Netflix Terre-Neuve series of Netflix and would be back home from the set when the vehicles collided last Thursday. Hartnett was a passenger in the vehicle and the driver were taken to hospital as a precaution, but according to the police cited by CBC, none was seriously injured. The police officer was also taken to hospital as a precaution.

Details of the accident are not known.

The deadline has contacted Netflix, the representative of Hartnett and the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary and we will update this post when / if we hear.

Hartnett plays in and is executive producing the series of six episodes of Newfoundland Limited, which takes place and turns in Newfoundland, in Canada.
