Jorge Mendes offers the former Wolves Nelson Semedo

Jorge Mendes is already doing his best to find a new club for a player who, until recently, was in Wolves’ books.

The Portuguese agent has brought a number of his customers to Molinine in the last decade and represents four members of the current team of Vitor Pereira – Jose SA, Matt Doherty, Goncalo Guedes and Fer Lopez.

He is also the representative of Nelson Semedo, who is currently a free agent after the expiration of his contract in the Black Country, and the manager has actually confirmed to L’Express & Star this week that the 31 -year -old is very little likely to stay with old gold.

Italian reports suggest that the defender of Portugal could soon be on the way to Serie A.

Mendes offers Semedo to Juventus

According to the Stampa (via il bianconero), Mendes offered the great-great work to Juventus, with whom the agent recently negotiated a permanent transfer for Francisco Conceica.

However, while the 59 -year -old man tries to get a move to Turin for Semedo, the Bianconeri targets other right backs such as Nahuel Molina, Lucas Vazquez and Jonathan Clauss.

What is the next step for Mendes after the resurrection at Wolves?

With Mendes in search of a new club for the 31 -year -old, it seems certain that the defender played his last match for Wolves after five years and 182 appearances.

His position in Molinine was illustrated by the Reward of the Captaincy club halfway last season (taking charge of the Mario Lemina armband), a reward for his considerably improved performances under Gary O’Neil and, later Pereira.

Such a status seemed unlikely when he was guilty of defensive touches too frequent in the Bruno Lage and Julen Lopetegui days, but it was the credit of Semedo that he managed to put this difficult period behind him.

As Steve Madeley noted from athletics, the great-back has acquired a reputation in Wolves as a “solid, ultra-professional and low-maintenance” player who has become an “inspiring” presence in recent months.

He remains to be seen what the future has in store for him, but with the old gold skipper now now a free agent, he will be able to decide between Doherty, Pedro Lima and Ki-Jana Hoever among his current recoil options.
