Jordan Peele’s new film was deleted from the release date of 2026

Jordan Peele’s fourth film as a director seems to take longer than expected.
Universal Pictures inaugurated the next project of the Oscars winner of his exit calendar, which was dated for the last time for October 2026. Peele is currently at work on the film, which has not yet launched cameras, an individual familiar with the project told Variety.
Originally, the follow -up of his successful film in 2022 “Nope” was to open its doors at Christmas 2024; After the guild strikes, the film was then pushed to the next Halloween. Universal had no comments. Peele representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comments.
As usual with the efforts of director of Peele, nothing is known about the intrigue of the film, although it was classified as a horror thriller. But speaking of the podcast “Conan O’Brien needs a friend” in 2024, Peele said: “I have the impression that my next project is clear for me, and I am excited that I have another film which, you know, could be my favorite film if I do it well.”
Peele is not based on his laurels. Universal will imminently release the sports horror film produced by Peele “Him”. This project features Heatseeker Tyriq Withers (“I know what you did last summer”, “Atlanta”) as a recruited football player with great ambitions. Marlon Wayans embodies like a legendary quarter who takes Withers under his wing, showing his protégé that grandeur has a dark (and horribly supernatural) price.
Early Buzz praises Wayans for an unexpected dramatic turn. The public will discover when “Him” will be released in theaters on September 19.
