Jon Stewart rages against the suspension of Kimmel with parody of show pro-Trump Daily

The episode of Thursday of “The Daily Show”, organized by Jon Stewart in a rare appearance on Thursday, began with a brutal response to ABC suspending Jimmy Kimmel:

“From Comedy Central. This is the brand new daily show approved by the government with your patriotically obedient host, Jon Stewart. ”

But that, in the end, was not only a unique joke before a straight commentary on the issue. It was rather the configuration of an episode of an episode in which “The Daily Show” was reinvented as a creaking, a propaganda taking from North Korea devoted entirely to the praise of Donald Trump and the Republicans, and of course condemning his enemies.

And it was perhaps the best answer to what happened to Kimmel because he was suspended one day before, in response to the indignation on the right in the face of a comment he made by assuming facts on the man who killed Charlie Kirk – who was then refuted by information that did not become available later.

Appropriately, instead of the usual false editorial room, the 23 -minute entire opening segment featured Stewart in front of what seemed to be an incredibly garish and excessively golden room partly with what Trump recently did in the White House.

“We have another fun, hilarious and administration show,” said Stewart at the start. “Wow. I’m coming this evening from a real s – Hole, the criminal sump that is New York. It is a huge disaster as no one has ever seen before, someone’s national guard should invade this place. Am I right?”

To this, the public laughs hard, which prompted a panicked Stewart to grate “Close the F – Up!” To them, a gag that would continue throughout the segment. He then started the parodic version of the state of the state of the usual summary of “The Daily Show”, starting with Donald Trump’s state visit to the United Kingdom.

Or, as Stewart said, “our grandfather is not at home. Because the father adorned England with his legendary warmth and radiance. ”

“Look at him! With an approach even more majestic than that of royal horses that rushed to him, he seduced the English with charm, intelligence and an undeniable sexual charisma which filled their air like a London fog rich in pheromone,” continued Stewart.

His summary of Trump’s visit continued, with real events framed by absurd praise, obviously false and extravagant. “The Trump perfectly tinted to dazzle his hosts at dinner with an unrivaled oratorical skills,” said Stewart.

Short afterwards, praising Trump’s claim to high literacy in a very sarcastic obsequity, Stewart added: “I will tell you whose list of customers is Trump’s name on: Dewey Decimal’s.”

“But of course,” continued Stewart, “as great as these authors are, there can only be one most formidable author in the English language … Oh, how fortune smiled at us, because this scribe even is also our dear leader.”

Things have continued in this direction, Stewart moving to other reasons why Trump has been in the news recently, and of course, the more negative, the more negative his praise. Finally, he reached Trump’s comments earlier this day Thursday about Kimmel’s suspension.

Chris Hayes on the `` repression '' of Trump on the first amendment after the suspension of Jimmy Kimmel

Said Trump in part: “He had very bad grades, and they should have dismiss him a long time ago. So you know, you might call it or not. ” Stewart began to hammer the purpose of this whole house.

“You can call it freedom of expression in old England, but in America, we have little something called the first amendment. Let me tell you how it works. Fusing prospects billion dollars in network affiliates. »»

“These affiliates are then invited to give ultimatums to the even larger mega corporation which controls the content flow approved by the state, or the FCC can simply threaten these licenses directly. It is fundamental science,” said Stewart. “There is
Certain rules of freedom of expression that we must all respect. But in case someone needs recycling, we will review the rules. »»

The first, as Stewart summed up after playing Trump support clips in the media that supported his attacks on freedom of expression, was “people cannot just go to television and induce induced viewers.”

He then ran a supercut of flagrant lies told by various hosts on Fox News.

Then, as Stewart summed up after playing more clips, it was “you can’t say fascist. You can’t say enemy, error. You can’t say less than human. These are simple rules that any member responsible for a company can easily follow. ”

He then, of course, played a bunch of clips from Trump and his supporters in the media doing this exactly.

Then Stewart finally said: “Only a bad person would celebrate violence or make coarse jokes about it.” This was followed by clips of multiple high -ranking Republicans and allies of the conservative media mocking violence inflicted on the Democrats.

“I do not know who is this character ABC” Johnny Dribble Live “, but the fact is that our great administration has established very clear rules on freedom of expression,” said Stewart starting to conclude things. “Now, some opponents may say that the concerns of the word of this administration are only a cynical ploy, a thin ruse of cunning, a smoke screen to obscure unprecedented consolidation of power and unitary intimidation. Some people would not say.
