Jon Stewart breaks down Trump’s total incompetence in television terms he could understand

Jon Stewart tries to explain the “total incompetence” of President Trump in a way he could understand: through the objective of television.

In the episode of Thursday of the podcast “The Weekly Show”, the host wanted to highlight the wrong way that the president and those who underlie him perform tasks – or rather not to do it. Stewart explained that “it is as if everything that happened on the world scene is only another weekly episode of its program”, whether it is rates of the day of liberation or Immigration raids on ice or continuous development between Iran and Israel.

The whole exhausting affair left the host of “Daily Show” to the feeling that he was upside down.

“We are in such a bizarre world that you made me look after Tucker Carlson’s videos,” said Stewart. “You have Tucker Carlson,” why are we going to war with Iran “and I say to myself” yeah, you say brother “. This is how F-King upside down we are at the moment.

He continued: “No one has follow -up or a means of getting things done. If something is done, it will be a happy accident, not because of the judicious plan that was put in place by a Jedi chess master at the fifth level. It is bulls.”

The dust between Tucker Carlson and Ted Cruz to which Stewart alluded occurred earlier this week when the former Fox News host asked the Senator of Texas why he wanted to go to war with Iran – and was disconcerted by his lack of knowledge on the country.

“How many people live in Iran, by the way?” Asked Carlson. “I don’t know the population at all … I don’t know the population,” replied Cruz.

“Do you not know the population of the country you are looking to overthrow?” Carlson, asked with an incredulous tone of voice. He then specified that Iran currently has a population estimated at 92 million inhabitants. “How could you not know?”

“I am not sitting on memorizing population tables,” he spit Cruz. “Well, it’s a bit relevant, because you are asking for the overthrow of the government,” said Carlson.

Earlier this week, “The Daily Show” had fun following the interview between the two combat Republicans.

“Look at poor Ted Cruz. He says to himself:” Uh, uh, uh – I would like to call a friend, please. Oh, s – t, I don’t have one. I had a server last night in Outback and he called me field, can I call it? “”, Approzement Jordan Klepper made fun. “You know, I can’t believe I say that, but I’m starting to feel bad for Ted Cruz.”
