The ceilings, today’s matches seemed much more coordinated and cleaned than your games. Appointment of strategies earlier, or were you better prepared today?

Rasmus “Caps” Borregaard Winter: “It is not like we are hiding things. We just needed a warm -up to prepare. We are still far from where we want to be – we can be much stronger. But we are definitively used to the scene, and we are delighted with our next match.

Canyon said he felt a special link with you after all your nearby international matches over the years. Do you have a message for him after this series?

Caps: It was fun to play against him for many years at this stage. I prefer the first time that we met in 2019. It has been a little more difficult since then. I will try to recover it later in the tournament

After a dominant match 1, Gen. Get quickly taken control of the series. In your opinion, what was wrong for G2 in the following games, and what lessons do you take in the lower support?

Caps: Match 1 went definitively for us – we managed to find some first tracks and we played it quite slowly. In the next games, we have been late too quickly and we could not stabilize. They threw us from our pace and disturbed us. For the following series, we will play on our conditions. If our opponents are trying to play very quickly, we will punish him.

Brokenblade, you mentioned in an individually difficulty in your first series against Furia. But today, against the best toplaner in the world, you have held yours. What has changed?

Sergen “Brokenblade” in steel: The difference was that I felt like a different player against furia – I just fought. Today, I felt more ready, prepared, free to play my game. It was still difficult because they put us a lot in all the ways and exchanged several times. But the preparation is a large part of why.

G2 has played the most games in the tournament so far. Do you think that the crowded calendar affected your ability to adapt and close the series, even after winning match 1?

Brokenblade: It is difficult to play a lot of back to back games, but I don’t think there was fatigue. Even if there were, we had a few days off. It’s just the life of a professional player. The calendar was a little unlucky, but that does not change the fact that we must win whatever happens. The next thing we will do is go home and see what we can do better.
