Gunnar Henderson, Orioles Jolt Guardians in the series final

Alex Jackson scored on the two outings of Gunnar Henderson in seventh round, offering the decisive race for the Orioles of Baltimore visiting a 4-3 victory against the Cleveland Guardians on Thursday afternoon.

Henderson delivered Erik Sabrowski while Baltimore avoided a balayage of four games to booming goalkeepers. Cleveland has won 11 of his 14 games since July 7, when he beat the Astros of Houston to take a sequence of 10 consecutive defeats.

Ramon Laureano de Baltimore struck his third circuit in the series, a two -point shot during the first round. Ramon Urias had a double RBI for the Orioles, who lost seven of their last nine to fall from driving in the playoffs.

Steven Kwan, of the Guardians, recorded his first career match for two Homer, cleaning the right ground wall for the third and fifth rounds against Charlie Morton (6-8). The first measured 384 feet and the second was 372 feet.

The Orioles scored three times on four badly affected balls during the first against the left-handed Logan Allen (6-9), underlined by Homer of 414 feet from Laureano who plated Jordan Westburg.

Allen launched 6 1/3 sleeves, abandoning four points in seven strokes. The left -hander withdrew four without a walk, losing for the fifth time in six starts since June 24.

The whole match was played under a thermal opinion issued by the National Weather Service with a temperature on the first field of 88 degrees which continued to increase. There were fans of mist and ice stations throughout the stadium.

Earlier in the day, the Orioles got closer to Félix Bautista on the 15 -day injured list with discomfort of the right shoulder. The right -hander, which has 19 stops in 20 opportunities, will undergo an MRI when they returned to Baltimore on Friday.
