Joe Torre joins AL as an honorary coach for the star match

The manager of the renowned temple, Joe Torre, who guided New York Yankees with four rings from the World Series, will be a honorary coach for the American League during the star match on July 15 in Atlanta, the major baseball league announced on Tuesday.
Torre, who will be 85 years old on July 18, will join the Al Al du Skipper of the Yankees Aaron Boone with the director of the Cleveland Guardians, Stephen Vogt.
The All-Stars of the National League are managed by Dave Roberts of the title champion of World Series Los Angeles Dodgers and its staff.
The NL features are Brian Snitker, director of the Atlanta Braves host, and the first -year skipper of Miami Marlins, Clayton McCullough, who spent the previous four seasons as a coach of the first Dodgers base.
Torre, who works for MLB as a special assistant of the commissioner, succeeded 29 seasons and ranks fifth of all time with 2,326 victories.
Twice manager of the Al of the year, Torre was at the mark of the New York Mets (1977-1981), Braves (1982-84), St. Louis Cardinals (1990-1995), Yankees (1996-2007) and Dodgers (2008-100).
He was elected to the fame of fame as director in 2014 by the Committee of the Expansion Age. As a player, he adapted to the brave both in Milwaukee (1960-65) and Atlanta (1966-68), including five consecutive stars of 1963-67.
Vogt, who played for the Braves in 2021, was elected the AL manager of the year in 2024 after leading the Guardians at the Crown of the Central Division and the series of Championships in the American League during his first year.
