Joe Rogan says whoever put Tulsi Gabbard on terrorist watch list ‘should be in fucking jail’
Podcast host Joe Rogan on “The Joe Rogan Experience” on Wednesday exposed who was responsible for putting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard on a watch list of suspected terrorists under the Biden administration.
Whistleblowers revealed in 2024 that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and Federal Air Marshals (FAM) were monitoring Gabbard during her travel, claiming she had been placed on a TSA list known as the “Quiet Skies” program. Rogan highlighted Gabbard’s service in Congress and the military on his podcast, arguing that whoever put her on the list should be imprisoned and shamed. “She was a member of the United States Congress for eight years. She served overseas in a medical unit, right? So she was deployed twice to a medical unit in the middle of the war,” Rogan said. “And you’re calling her a terrorist? Whoever did this – whoever signed this – should be in fucking jail. This is crazy. This is such an abuse. This is such an abuse of power. And you want to talk about going after your political enemies like a third world country – this is a prime example of that.”
“You put a congresswoman for eight years on the terrorist watch list – for what? For what reason? None? No reason? There are no crazy tweets where she was made… She’s not even like that. [Republican Georgia Rep.] Marjorie Taylor Greene, who lashes out sometimes,” he added. “She’s not like that… Tulsi’s not like that at all. And you put her on a terrorist watch list? Shame on you. Damn, shame on you.
Gabbard told Matt Taibbi’s Racket News in 2024 that she and her husband experienced “random” searches at airports that lasted up to 45 minutes.
“It happened every time I got on board,” Gabbard told the outlet.
“I have a few blazers in there, and they hug every inch of the collar, every inch of the sleeves, every inch of the edge of the blazers,” she said. “They tighten or pad [sic] underwear, bras, workout clothes, every inch of every piece of clothing.
President Donald Trump’s administration ended the Quiet Skies program in June.
“It is clear that the Quiet Skies program has been used as a political rolodex of [former President Joe] The Biden administration is being weaponized against its political enemies and exploited for the benefit of its well-heeled friends,” Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said at the time.
The program grew after January 6, 2021, to monitor individuals protesting at the Capitol, according to Taibbi.
