Joe Rogan, Megyn Kelly, “Call her dad” eligible for the Podcast Globe Kudo

“Call your dad”, “Smartless”, “The Joe Rogan Experience” and “The Megyn Kelly Show” are among the 25 best pretenders of the podcast eligible to compete for the first prize of the Golden Globe for best Podcast, to be presented during the 83rd annual ceremony for prize in January.
The land will be reduced to six nominees who will be revealed with the rest of the nominees for this year’s globe on December 8.
The other leading titles that made the restricted list included “an expert in a chair with Dax Shepard”, “Good Hang Withy Poehler”, “Pod Save America”, “The Daily” by the New York Times, “The Mel Robbins Podcast” and “The last weekend with Theo Von”.

The 83rd Golden Globe Awards annual are broadcast live on CBS on January 11 of the Beverly Hilton hotel. The actor Nikki Glaser will return for a second year as a host.

The globes announced in May the plan to add a price category for the best podcast from the 2026 ceremony. It is a recognition of the growing influence of Podcast commentators and the growing role played by audio narration in the wider content ecosystem. The Kudo Globes podcast will include audio and video podcasts and will highlight the work that has had a significant impact in the past year.
