Joe Biden skin cancer surgery, health update

Joe Biden is on connection.

The former president is doing well after having undergone a procedure known as Mohs surgery to eliminate cancer from the skin from his head, said his spokesperson NBC News September 4.

Although the spokesperson did not specify when the 82 -year -old man received the procedure – which is used to treat basal carcinomas and epidermoid carcinomas, the two most common skin cancer, according to the Skincancer.org– He had a visible incision on his head during an outing in Delaware on August 22.

Biden also had a cancerous skin lesion withdrawn from his chest in 2023 following a physical routine examination.

“As expected, the biopsy confirmed that the small lesion was a basal carcinoma. All the cancer fabrics were successfully removed”, the doctor of the former president Kevin O’Connor said in a memo at the time, by NBC News. “No additional treatment is required.”

Beyond skin cancer, biden revealed in May that he is currently fighting against an “aggressive form” of prostate cancer which has spread to his bones.
