Jim Harbaugh provides health update on Najee Harris
The charge coach of the loaders, Jim Harbaugh, provided an update on Najee Harris Thursday, saying that the loaders that run in balloon become “better” every day.
Harris underwent a superficial eyes injury during a fireworks accident on July 4 and was registered on the list of non-Football injuries (NFI) before the training camp.
Harris did not practice during the camp, but recently accelerated his workload through exercises and training sessions on the side of the practice with a coach.
With Open-season Chargers 2025 in Brazil At only 15 days, Harbaugh was questioned Friday about Harris’ potential status for week 1.
“When Najee is ready to play, Najee will be ready to play,” said Harbaugh. “Right now, going beyond it today would be to review the legal limit. This would lead you to the legal limit of what is.
Harbaugh then continued with his answer.
“I see najee every day, I speak to najee every day [and ask]”How do you feel?” He says: “Better”. My question is: “Better than yesterday?” He said, “Yes”, every day that I asked him, “said Harbaugh.
“It’s really encouraging. It just gives you the hope that tomorrow will be better than today,” said Harbaugh. “Improvement leads to the theory of success at work, so simple that it could work well. Improvement will lead to success, it is theory.”
Harris, who signed this offseason with the loads as a free agent, rushed to more than 1,000 yards during each of his first four seasons of the NFL.
If Harris remains on the NFI list on the deadline of 53 men from Tuesday at 1 p.m. (PT), he must at least miss the first four games of the 2025 season.
