JK Rowling Address to shoot Paapa Essiedu from the Harry Potter Max television series

Fans of the emblematic Harry Potter The franchise is on the verge of a new chapter because Warner Bros. Discovery officially has Greenlights a live television series based on the seven beloved novels of JK Rowling.
Scheduled to make its debut on Max, the ambitious project should extend over several years, each season devoted to faithfully adapting a book of the original saga.
Unlike cinematographic adaptations, the series will fully benefit from the extended format of television, offering a deeper and more immersive dive in complex plots and the magical world Rowling created.
Although an exit date has not been confirmed, Casey Bloys, president and chief executive officer of HBO & Max Content, underlined the commitment of the studio to authenticity and narration faithful to source material.
“”This new original Max series will deeply plunge into each of the emblematic books that fans have cherished for years“Said Bloys during the announcement.”With a devoted creative team, we will finally be able to explore the depth and detail of these beloved stories through the long narration that television makes possible. “”
While the excitement for the television program begins to build itself, a concern of the fans is focused on the involvement of the creator of the franchise.
Despite an increasing anticipation for the Harry Potter Television series, some fans are concerned about the role of the executive producer of creator JK Rowling because of his controversial position on the rights of transgender.
However, she adopts a somewhat surprisingly tolerant approach in her response to the cries of fans for Paapa Essiedu, the actor who depicts Snape in the next Max series, to be dismissed on his previous support for transgender rights.
On social networks, Rowling said: “I do not have the power to dismiss an actor of the series, and I will not exercise it if I did. I do not believe in removing the work or the livelihoods of people because they have legally protected beliefs which differ from mine.“”

Some fans would be more upset by Paapa Essiedu, a black actor, depicting a traditionally Caucasian book character. They would try to take advantage of JK Rowling’s opinions on trans rights so that the author calls for the dismissal of Essiedu, but Rowling seems to ignore this tactic.
In addition to Essiedu snape, the Max series will also star John Lithgow under the name of Albus Dumbledore, Janet McTeer in the role of Minerva McGonagall, Nick Frost like Rubeus Hagrid, Luke Thallon as Quirrell and Paul Whitehouse like Argus Filch.
The roles of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger have not yet been thrown.
Francesca Gardiner (its dark materials, inheritance) serves as a showrunner. Mark Mylod (succession) is confirmed as making several episodes of the first season.
