JJ Watt and his wife Kealia welcome the second baby together

JJ Watt is again a dad!

NFL’s retired player, 36, and his wife Kealia Ohai Watt, 33, welcomed their second baby together, announcing the exciting news in a joint article on Instagram.

On a sweet photo, the family of four poses together for the first time. Kealia can be seen by holding their new little little one, while JJ puts an arm around his wife and holds the 2 -year -old son of the Koa couple. The happy couple also included a Koa shot holding their new brother, as well as a blow from the old athlete holding their new baby.

“Overcoming joy and gratitude,” they wrote in their joint legend. “Niko Benjamin Watt. 6.14.25. ❤️💙.”

The couple announced for the first time that they expected a baby on February 3, in an Instagram publication which also presented their son Koa and their two dogs. “I can’t wait to welcome a new love in our lives. ❤️💙” reads their joint legend.

The post presented photos of Koa kissing the bump of baby growing from former Chicago Red Star player as she looked down and smiled, while JJ was proudly stood nearby. Their dogs were at the front and center, watching them enjoy the moment.

In another photo, the future mother of two smiled for the camera and held her bump while JJ held and smiled in Koa. A fun image of JJ, Kealia and Koa completed the carousel.

The couple got married on February 15, 2020 and they welcomed their Koa son in October 2022.

In February, shortly after announcing her second pregnancy, Kealia also shared some professional photos taken to celebrate the couple’s fifth wedding anniversary – in the same place where they were for the first time.

“5 years later and we are back to the exact place we got married, this time with our babies🤍,” she subtitled the Instagram post, who made photos of the embracing pair, smiling and placing his hands on her growing bunch. “Happy birthday @jjwatt. I love you more than ever.”

In April, Kealia shared other photos of her growing baby bump on social networks, including a blow of her wearing a gray combination and a coating when she was holding Koa on a hip and used her other hand to hold her belly.

Speaking with people in January 2024, JJ shared that Koa is already following his parents’ traces with regard to his love for sport.

“He really likes sport. He has his own little basketball hoop and he loves to put the ball in the hoop. He has mini hockey sticks and he finally learns to use two hands on the hockey stick, which is great.”

JJ added that he and his wife, who are both athletes, would not be against Koa to take a sport of his choice.

“We obviously love sport because of everything they teach children,” he continued. “They teach discipline, they teach hard work, they teach teamwork. They learn to manage and lose, how to manage adversity.”

“We have lived that our whole life, so we are really waiting for to participate, as long as he wishes, and it seems so far that he is interested.”
