Jimmy Kimmel Lists Protest Signs People Shouldn’t Do to Anger Trump

As the country prepares for another round of “No Kings” protests this weekend, Jimmy Kimmel has some ideas for signs people can make. But according to the ABC host, people should definitely not do them, because they might upset President Trump.

On Saturday, there will be a protest in every state, and “No Kings” organizers anticipate a turnout of several million people. The peaceful protests are meant to be a demonstration against Trump’s policies, especially in the context of ICE’s domestic raids and the deployment of U.S. troops in U.S. cities. Indeed, there will be plenty of protest signs, many of which will openly mock Trump.

“I just want to ask you to remember that our president is very sensitive about his weight, so don’t use the word Shamussolini to describe him,” Kimmel joked. “Or clogged Washington, or Hungarian King VII. He won’t like it.”

“It’s rude, and he’ll throw you in jail, just like he plans to punish those Chicago agitators,” Kimmel continued.

The late-night host also took issue with the fact that House Speaker Mike Johnson and other Trump allies have taken to calling these protests “hate rallies for America.”

“Ha, good,” Kimmel said. “So, to be clear, peacefully protesting an aspiring dictator means you hate America. Attacking the capital to overturn an election? Patriotic walking tour.”
