Jets QB Justin Fields has erased the concussion protocol

Florham Park, NJ – New York Jets without a victory will have their quarter -back leaving in the alignment on Monday evening against the Miami dolphins.

Justin Fields, who missed a match due to a concussion of week 2, was authorized on Friday evening by doctors and will return to the programming.

“Justin plays,” said coach Aaron Glenn on Saturday.

Fields, who spent more than a week in the NFL cerebral protocol, fully practiced for three consecutive days and was removed from the protocol after being examined by an independent neurologist.

“He is a dynamic runner. He is an intelligent player,” said Glenn about his expectations for the fields. “I think that in the game of passes, he showed exactly what he can do in this first match and we want to continue to develop and continue to improve.”

Fields was injured in the defeat of week 2 of the team against the Buffalo Bills when his head slammed the lawn on a fourth quarter struck by defensive winger Joey Bosa.

The offensive pulverized for three quarters last week with Tyrod Taylor, who joined the jets with two passes in the fourth quarter during a possible defeat of 29-27 against the Buccaneers of Tampa Bay.

The jets, trying to avoid their first start of 0 to 4 since 2020, hope that the presence of Fields will be able to unlock his racing game. In the last two games, Breece Hall was held at 50 yards in 19 races.

Their attack seemed dynamic during week 1, while Fields rushed to two affected and passed for another while the jets accumulated 394 yards in total in a defeat of 34-32 against the Pittsburgh steelers. They tried to return to this formula.

“We have to run the ball better,” said Glenn earlier in the week. “Listen, I know that we were going to three very good teams the past teams that we have played, but that doesn’t matter for me. I expect this team on how we operate, and I will not withdraw from that and our guys will not be stretched.”

Dolphins (0-3) are classified 32nd in score defense, but they have not lost against jets in Miami since 2014.

Each match is important for Fields, which came to the jets as a free agent on a $ 40 million contract over two years, including 30 million dollars guaranteed. In a sense, he is on a one-year hearing while jets try to determine if he can be their long-term response in the quarter.

Fields, in his third team in three years, played one of the best games in his career in the first game, ending 16 of 22 passes for 218 yards. During week 2, however, he regressed. Before the concussion, it was 3 for 11 for 27 yards – a QBR in total of 1.0 career.
