Jensen Ackles tries to stop the terrorist attack in the first trailer for the countdown
Amazon Prime Video abandoned the first trailer of the Thriller series “Countdown”.
In the trailer, detective LAPD Mark Meachum (ACKLES) is recruited to be part of an elite team responsible for preventing a large-scale terrorist attack in Los Angeles.

As announced previously, the series will be launched with its first three episodes on June 25. New episodes will follow each week, leading to the final of the season on September 3.
The official line line line stipulates:
“When an Officer of the Ministry of Internal Security is assassinated in broad daylight, the detective of LAPD, Mark Meachum, is recruited in a secret working group, alongside infiltrated agents of all branches of the police, to investigate. But hunting for the killer soon discovers a plot. ”
With Ackles, the cast also includes Eric Dane, Jessica Camacho, Violett Beane, Elliot Knight and Uli Latukefu. The series is created by the showrunner and executive producer Derek Haas and produced by Amazon MGM Studios.
Ackles was announced for the first time as a come to the top of it in 2024. Ackles and the production company of his wife Daneel, Chaos Machine, are currently under a first agreement at the Amazon MGM studios, while Haas is now under a global agreement at the studio. “Countdown” was developed as a star vehicle for Ackles, who collaborated with Amazon with his role as soldier Boy in the successful series “The Boys” and the next prequel “Vought Rising”.
