Minaj’s original post appeared to say “Vance > Rants,” according to some screenshots on social media, although it’s unclear what prompted the tweet and why she deleted it.
Earlier this week, Minaj reposted several tweets about the Trump administration, including one about kidney surgery Melania Trump underwent in 2018, which claimed that President Donald Trump sent her a “lovely” letter and postponed meetings to be by her side, although these claims are not supported by reports.
Minaj also reposted a video of Trump doing the viral “Trump dance” — a move he popularized by pumping both fists back and forth — and said, “Mood.”
Is Nicki Minaj more supportive of the Trump administration?
In recent weeks, Minaj has praised the Trump administration in a number of social media posts, several of which thanked Trump for acknowledging apparent attacks on Christians in Nigeria. “Thank you to the president and his team for taking this seriously,” Minaj said in a post in November after Trump published an article on Nigeria on Truth Social. Minaj has also reposted several TikToks posted by the official White House account, including one in November that uses her song “Va Va Voom” and lists several achievements claimed by the administration in 2025, including “no men in women’s sports, border closed” and “illegal criminals deported.” Minaj has not formally supported any of Trump’s presidential bids, and she criticized his immigration policies in 2020. But the Trump administration has recently embraced her: The Team Trump TikTok account posted a video of Trump dancing in November with the caption: “Mood now that Nikki Manaj [sic] and YOURSELF…”
