JD Vance met demonstrators, hoots and cheers during the Disneyland holidays | Video

Hundreds of people gathered outside Disneyland Resort on Saturday to protest against the visit of vice-president JD Vance, his wife Usha and their children. Vance also encountered hoots and cheers in the park.

The visit stimulated variable reactions on social networks. @DisNeyscoopGuy, who visited Disneyland 234 consecutive days in 2024, shared a video showing the family of four walking on X but offered no comments.

The OC_SCANNER shared its own video of the family (and important security details) welcomed by more bravo than huae during the same visit.

But many demonstrators gathered outside the park, where many poles have made a head of the American and Mexican flags while asking the vances to “go home”. The demonstrations were greeted with drivers who tried, generally a signal of agreement.

Disneyscoopguy also shared another video of the demonstrators, noting that they were gathered in front of the Grand Californian Hotel.

In another video, a woman is understood to say to Vance: “We support immigrants, we support America!” Before she asked, “I thought California was violent?”

The California supervisor, Vicente Sarmiento, noted in a shared article via Instagram that the visit comes at a sensitive moment for the State. “I salute any decision-maker to visit, listen to and assist communities of immigrants who work hard who make our county strong,” he wrote. “I respect the office, but I cannot respect the policies that harm our people.”

“There is a huge contrast between the work we do on the ground – supporting families with food, resources and hope – and an administration whose policies feel designed to crush the very communities that we serve,” added Sarmiento.
