It was a difficult match, especially because we started very strong. My opponent is a very good player – I only faced her two weeks ago – and it took me a while to get into the match. I’m glad I continued to believe and fight. She is an extremely strong opponent and I had to do my best. I am very happy with this victory.

Jaqueline Cristian participates in the third quarter-final of the year on the WTA circuit after those of Rabat and Iasi.
My team and I work hard, even if it’s not always easy. Our goal is for me to get better and better; we don’t have numbers or rankings in mind. We want to enjoy every day and let my game grow
