Jane Hedengren continued her phenomenal season with another national record on the track. On June 5, the graduate of the High School Tombview erased the American high school record in the Mile, in 4: 23.50 Hoka Festival de Miles to St. Louis, Missouri.
The 18 -year -old led the thread race, winning the title of 12 seconds at St. Louis University School Thursday evening. Hedengren lowered the previous Record of Outside Mile (4: 28.46) established by Sadie Engelhardt in 2024 by almost five seconds. His performance is also a U20 American record.
