James Gunn opens to leave Henry Cavill from the DCU.
During a recent appearance on the Podcast “Happy Sad Confused”, the director of “Superman” explained that his agreement to take over the DC studios, it was announced that Cavill would resume his role as a steel man. However, according to Gunn, it was already on paper that he directed a new superman film with a new actor, who created an “unfair” situation for Cavill.

When asked by the host Josh Horowitz if he was “too confusing” to throw Cavill in another role of DCU, Gunn said: “Absolutely not”.
“I told him about it that day,” added Gunn. “I would love to put Henry in something.”
