James Gunn calls’ Superman ‘Flying Shot’ Funky “, shoots from the film

If you thought that an overview of The Man of Steel Flying in the trailer for the next film “Superman” looked bad, don’t worry – James Gunn did it too.
The co-PDG of “Superman”, director and DC Studios, shared an interview with Entertainment Weekly published Thursday that an unfinished plan of Kal-El flying through a landscape of the Arctic “in a way was passed” in a teaser. In fact, the cliché bored him so much, he will not appear in the film’s final cup.
The shot in question, presented at the end of a 30 -second teaser released on January 26, follows Superman from behind while he goes up through the Arctic – probably, coming from his fortress of loneliness. When Superman approaches a rocky structure, the camera changes angles to cover his face as he makes a barrel roll. The following is a photo of Superman flying directly to the camera – with the face of actor David Corenswet who looks strangely static and distorted.
“The part of him flying was a photograph of his face and flying. It was a photograph of a flying drone in front of a background,” said Gunn. “So all the parts were real, but it was incorporated in a funky way.”
You can see for yourself in the teaser below.
Gunn owned the error, saying that he was not looking at the television spot as well as he would make a complete trailer. The blow faced large criticisms at the time of his release; However, it seems that, even then, Superman’s theft had many defenders.
Gunn spoke of the difficulty of representing a hero with such “simplicity and elegance” like Superman. Gunn has already directed flying superheroes, notably Star-Lord and Adam Warlock in his “Guardians of the Galaxy” trilogy. However, he never represented a flight on a character as graceful as the steel man.
Although Gunn has removed this “Superman” stroke, fans will have to wait until July 11 to see how the director manages the character’s theft as a whole.
