James Cook returns to the practice of invoices in the middle of the contractual dispute

Orchard Park, Ny – James Cook returned to practice Tuesday in the middle of his contract dispute with the Buffalo Bills, seeming at least to suspend the suspension of the star of the star.
Cook was in a complete uniform and started the session fully participating. He did not participate in the last four days of training and also missed the first Buffalo pre-season match.
Bills coach Sean McDermott said he expected Cook to go back to training earlier on Tuesday, adding that “things had changed”.
“We had conversations with James,” said McDermott. “Good conversations, as I mentioned earlier, and the information we get is that he moves in the sense of practicing today.
McDermott refused to respond to the end of the suspension of Cook.
Cook, 25, took the ground in full uniform on Saturday and participated in pre-match warstlands for the opening of the Buffalo pre-season against the New York Giants, but did not play in the game.
Cook had participated in the first eight days of the practice of the training camp and in the three days of compulsory mini-caps. He said that after his first training session, he did not practice because of “business”, a change compared to his position previously declared to participate through negotiations.
The invoices argued that they wanted to pay Cook throughout the offseason, with negotiations starting at the start of the offseason. But the parties were unable to conclude an agreement on a new agreement with the fourth year ball carrier entering the last year of his recruit contract.
“In the end, I want us to be there,” said Bills Director of Bills, Brandon Beane, on WGR550 last week. “It’s my ninth season here. We have never missed a player because of a contract or something like that, so it’s disappointing for me. This is not something we want.”
The Bills extended three other members of the 2022 draft class of this off -season – the corner half Christian Benford, the second Terl Bernard and the receiver Khalil Shakir – in addition to the defensive winger Greg Rousseau.
Cook is the Buffalo ball carrier, but is part of a group. He was on the ground for just over 45% of offensive games last year, Ty Johnson often coming late from Downs and Ray Davis also obtained opportunities.
Being part of an offense of Bills which broke a variety of records, Cook equaled a team record with 16 touches on the ground (OJ Simpson) in 2024 and finished fifth in Yards before contact by Rush (3.1). He took a significant step in the 2024 season, double his total of affected compared to the two previous seasons of his (nine) career in one year (18).
