Jaland Lowe injured during Blue-White game: Kentucky Wildcats Basketball

The Kentucky Wildcats are holding their breath after seeing starting point guard Jaland Lowe leave Friday’s Blue-White with what appears to be an arm or shoulder injury.
The play in question occurred late in the game as Otega Oweh attempted to steal the ball from Lowe, and a collision led to Lowe falling in obvious pain while holding his right shoulder.
After being on the field for about a minute, Lowe was able to get up and make his own way to the locker room for further testing.
If Lowe missed time, Collin Chandler and Denzel Aberdeen would likely alternate point guard duties, while Jasper Johnson would also get more running with the ball.
For what it’s worth, our own Dylan Ballard was on the field taking photos and heard Lowe say he was “out.”
Meanwhile, after the game, head coach Mark Pope said Lowe had “twisted” his shoulder and the team will know more tomorrow on the extent of that injury.
Fingers crossed it’s no big deal for Lowe.
