Jadon Sancho Transfer News: Aston Villa Explore Deal to sign Manchester United forward | Football news

Aston Villa explores a contract on the deadline for Manchester United striker Jadon Sancho.

United would prefer a permanent agreement, however, it is understood that current discussions are focused on a loan.

Sancho has entered the last year of his contract, United having the possibility of extending an additional year.

The 25 -year -old was signed for 73 million Borussia Dortmund sterling books in the summer of 2021.

He spent last season on loan in Chelsea, but returned to United after the West London Club paid a penalty of 5 million pounds Sterling to get out of their obligation to buy it.

Chelsea had talks to renegotiate Sancho’s salary to adapt to their wage structure but could not conclude an agreement.

Sky Sports News reported this summer that the Roma, Napoli and Juventus had shown an interest in the front. However, the movements failed to sweat, there was an existing chance that Sancho could stay in United beyond the deadline on Monday.

There was also the interest of Turkey and Saudi Arabia, their transfer windows closing respectively on September 11 and 12.

If Sancho guarantees a loan move to Villa, he would follow in the footsteps of Marcus Rashford after spending the second half of last season on loan in the midlands.

Patrick Rowe de Sky Sports:

“Marcus Rashford made the decision to leave Manchester United to work with Unai Emery – and he is now firmly back on the Table of England and is currently working alongside Lamine Yamal in Barcelona.

“Jadon Sancho’s time in the Premier League has not been planned so far, but Emery knows a player when he sees one.

“This could be the perfect movement for the player and a team that currently lacks a spark in the last third.

“Three goals and four assists in 31 appearances when he was ready for Chelsea last season was a modest return, but it is difficult to cut your way into the inflated team of Enzo Maresca.

“In Villa, Sancho would have regular playing time, European football and a manager who has regularly shown that he can make the most of the players.

“A loan agreement can help all parties. The long -term future of Sancho, whether at Villa or another club, is a discussion for a later date.”
