“It is still a start” – the former sports director of Barcelona sends allegations of laminons of the Lamine Yamal in the middle of the Ballon d’Or

The former director of the Barcelona sportsman, Ramon Planes, urged fans to avoid doing too much pressure on Lamine Yamal in the midst of the affirmations that he could win the Ballon d’Or this year. In addition, planes believe that Yamal must maintain its current level for a few more years to win the Ballon d’Or.

Lamine Yamal impressed at the Masia, making his debut for the senior team on April 29, 2023, under Xavi Hernandez at the age of 15 years, 9 months and 16 days. In doing so, Spanish has become the fifth youngest player in Laliga history to make their debut.

The 17 -year -old has been prospered since, helping Barcelona to win four trophies, including two titles from Laliga. He also played a central role in Spain by winning Euro 2024 last summer.

Yamal notably had an out-of-competition campaign in 2024-25 for the Blaugrana, recording 18 goals and 25 assists in 55 appearances in all competitions. This led many fans to believe that he deserves to win the Ballon d’Or 2025, with Ousmane Dembele, Raphinha and Mohamed Salah also in the running.

However, during an interview with Mundo DeportivoRamon Planes urged Barcelona fans to stay patient, declaring (via Universal Barça):

“Lamine ascent was incredible. He looked special even in Barça youth teams. It has incredible potential, but the most difficult part is to stay at the highest level. We have to protect him and avoid giving him too much pressure. If he continues for years, he could become a Winner Golden Ball. But it’s still early, and we have to be patient. ”

Under the supervision of Hansi Flick, Yamal helped Barcelona win three trophies last season: the title Laliga, Copa del Rey and Supercopa de Espana.

“He did everything” – The president of PSG thinks that there is a “problem” with the Ballon d’Or if the blade of Barcelona Yamal beats Ousmane Dembele

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Nasser Al-Khelaifi, said there would be a problem with the Ballon d’Or if Ousmane Dembele is losing the price this year. While French is currently the favorite to win, Barcelona Winger Lamine Yamal should ensure close competition.

Dembele was sensational this season, scoring 34 goals and providing 15 assists in 51 appearances in all competitions. The 28 -year -old helped PSG win the triples of the UEFA Champions League, the title of Ligue 1 and the Coupé de France.

“Ousmane’s season is magnificent. There is no doubt that he will not win the Ballon d’Or. If he does not win it, there is a problem with the Ballon d’Or. He did everything.”

Ousmane Dembele’s PSG also has a good chance of winning the FIFA Club World Cup. The first scored during their 2-0 victory against Bayern Munich in the quarter-final (July 5). They will then face Real Madrid in the semi-finals on July 9.
