DR pepper flavor return with fans for “limited time”

Dr. Pepper has brought a favorite fans just in time for summer.

Fans of the flavor can buy 12 ounce cans in Walmart and Rousses participating in Louisiana until the end of July.

Dr. Pepper Vanilla Float was introduced for the first time as a flavor in a limited edition in 2014. He has since returned several times, including in 2017.

Fans have been delighted by the news, much sharing their enthusiasm in the comments section of an Instagram publication of the influencer counts Buck Attack announcing the return.

“OMG I need that,” said a fan.

Dr. Pepper would also have reissued his creamy coconut flavor this month after its initial launch last year.

Southern life reported that the flavor had returned to the shelves in certain stores in the south of Walmart. The flavor, which presents itself in regular and zero sugar versions, is also available on Amazon.

It is not clear if the vanilla float and creamy coconut flavors will be stored in stores nationwide.

In addition to launching several new flavors, Dr. Pepper also branched up for other products. In 2023, the company launched its Dr Pepper Float ice cream in collaboration with Blue Bell, a mixture of vanilla ice cream and Sherbet flavored Dr Pepper.

The sweet treat was available from various retailers throughout 2024.

The popularity of Dr. Pepper has continued to increase only in recent years. In 2023, the brand climbed the ladder and was tied with Pepsi as the second favorite soda of the United States, behind Coca-Cola in the front row.

Pepsi had held second place for almost four decades, according to the Wall Street Journal. But a recent wave of activity on Tiktok – including several trends like “Dirty Dr Pepper” and “Pickle Dr Pepper” – has given way to Dr Pepper’s climb to the top.
