Irfan Pathan explodes Ajit Agarkar on the selection of Jasprit Bumrah for the Antilles tests
The former national cricket team of India, Irfan Pathan, is not a happy man by seeing the superstar jasprit Bumrah stimulator in the test team for the series against the national cricket team of the Antilles.
Irfan Pathan said that the Cricket Control Council selection committee in India (BCCI) should have given a young fast Bowler for the next test series a chance, instead of including Jasprit Bumrah in the team.

Bumrah played test matches for India on the tour in England for the last time, where he presented three games out of five to manage his workload.
Meanwhile, speaking on his official Youtube channel, Irfan Pathan questioned the selection of Jasprit Bumrah and estimated that a young stimulator could have been tested against the Antilles.
“It seems to be a failed opportunity not to play a young quick launcher in these two tests, but it is the current management of the team. If I were a selector or a manager, I would surely have tried to give a young launcher an opportunity, by focusing on their development, not only quick results. Bumrah remains committed to testing the cricket, which is fantastic,” said Pathan.
“However, it is good that Bumrah maintains the Cricket Test as its priority. The selectors could have used this series to give a suitable rest for Bumrah and prepare a young fast bowler, which India must prioritize for a long-term vision. India needs a group of eight good loves, not just three or four,” he added.

Irfan Pathan also praised the call of selectors to remind Axar Patel to the test team after the versatile rotation was unjustly abandoned despite its sensational performances.
However, he estimated that the return of Axar Patel could mean that the wrist of the left arm Kuldeep Yadav could be put on the bench for the matches against the Antilles. In particular, Kuldeep Yadav also warmed up on the bench in the five games of the Anderson-Tendulkar 2025 trophy.
