Cathay Pacific looked forward to the Belgian capital yesterday (August 3) with the launch of its flights four times a week between Hong Kong and Brussels. The new service restores a significant direct link between the airline of the airline and the heart of Europe, offering even greater choice, connectivity and convenience.

With his return to Brussels and an increase in flight frequencies on other routes, Cathay Pacific operates nearly 100 return flights per week between Hong Kong and Europe this summer season. This includes five daily flights to London, daily flights to Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Manchester, Milan, Paris and Zurich, four weekly flights to Barcelona, Brussels, Madrid and Munich, and three weekly flights to Rome.
Cathay’s chief client and Lauvi Lau commercial agent said: “We are very happy to be back in Brussels, directly connecting our original center with one of the main political centers in Europe and a tourist destination imbued with history and culture. Our new service offers excellent flight schedules in the two directions or Kong customers.
“Cathay has a long history in Europe which dates back more than four decades. This year only, we have launched services to three new destinations in Europe with new flights to Rome and Munich having already taken off in June. With increased frequencies to other popular popular cities this summer, we make customers of traveling between Asia and Europe.”
Cathay Pacific Hong Kong-Brussels flights are exploited with the airline Airbus A350-900, one of the most advanced planes in its fleet. The A350-900 offers fully flat beds, spacious premium economy seats and prolonged comfort in the awarded economy of the airline.
Customers of all cabins can experience the best flight entertainment in the world1 And connect to Wi-Fi at high speed. Customers traveling in business class as well as members of Cathay Diamond have free Wi-Fi access when flying with Cathay Pacific.

Customers traveling from Europe to Hong Kong can also benefit from transparent connections via the Cathay group of origin, Hong Kong International Airport. Together, Cathay Pacific and its HK Express carrier operate passenger flights to more than 100 destinations worldwide, with 23 destinations in the Chinese continent. Customers can also take advantage of transparent connections with other major cities in the Grande Baie region thanks to direct air and air on land intermodal services via the Skypier terminal from Hong Kong International Airport.
Cathay Pacific’s passenger services also offer a belly capacity for freight customers, completing the seven flights from Cathay Cargo Cargo per week to Europe this summer.
