In the letter, he asked the United Nations Security Council to call an immediate emergency meeting on “wild and criminal actions” of the United States.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran urgently requests that the Security Council calls for an emergency meeting without delay to cope with this act of blatant and illegal aggression, to condemn it in the highest terms and to take all the necessary measures, according to the responsibilities established in the letter, so that the aggressor of these odious crimes is fully held responsible and does not go.” Iravani wrote.
