Tottenham has had a silent summer so far, but their efforts for more signatures should be intensified in the coming weeks. Other additions are necessary for a team that finished 17th in the Premier League last season, and soon, they could arrive.
A position that must be addressed is to attack the midfielder, as was clearly indicated during the continuation of Morgan Gibbs-White. Tottenham must now look for an alternative after having signed a new contract with Nottingham Forest, and a player who has been aligned is Jack Grenish.
Tottenham intensifies the pursuit of Jack Grenish Deal
Mick Brown (via Football Insider) revealed that Tottenham is one of the clubs wishing to sign Grenish this summer, with an agreement that is now more possible after the Northern Londoners failed to bring Gibbs-White.
“Jack Grenish must play regularly wherever he’s going. He must go to a club where he can produce the type of form which we know is capable.
“Tottenham could be this destination, especially after missing the agreement for Gibbs-White, because they want to strengthen in this position. They have been interested in Greallish for some time, so this agreement could finally happen now.
“Gibbs-white staying in the forest will be a hard blow, but they will have other targets in mind. If it is not Grenish, there will be someone else, but it is certainly a name on their list. He can play in this role of attacker midfielder but can also go out if necessary, and it is always a precious asset to have on your side.
“I know he’s going to leave Man City, there is no doubt, so the opportunity is there. It could depend on whether the money is correct. ”
Tottenham has been interested in Grenish for some time, but could now be the moment when they intensify their prosecution. For the moment, it remains to be seen if this is the case.
