Injured Barcelona striker Lewandowski could miss Clasico

Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has been ruled out of action due to a hamstring injury picked up during international duty – and he could miss the upcoming Clasico.
The 37-year-old scored in Poland’s 2-0 win over Lithuania at the weekend and although he said after the match there was no problem, Barca have now confirmed his injury.
Barcelona have already seen Ferran Torres and Dani Olmo pick up injuries while in Spain this week.
The club said: “He will be sidelined and his recovery time will depend on the progress of the injury. »
Lewandowski is out of contract with Barca at the end of this season and has been linked with a move away from the Spanish giants.
He is Poland’s top international scorer with 73 goals in 110 caps.
Spanish media are reporting that Lewandowski could be out for four to six weeks.
Barcelona will face La Liga leaders Real Madrid in a Clasico at the Santiago Bernabeu on October 26, while the striker is also expected to miss Champions League matches against Olympiakos and Club Brugge.
