Indiana secures commitment from transfer tight end Brock Schott

Former University of Miami player Brock Schott is transferring to Indiana after spending the 2025 season with the Hurricanes. The 6-foot-3, 245-pound tight end is a former Top247 prospect out of Leo HS in Leo, Indiana.
As a true freshman in 2025, Schott redshirted after playing in two games and making two receptions for 12 yards.
Schott was a four-star recruit coming out of high school in the 2025 recruiting class who was ranked as Indiana’s fifth-best prospect, 10th-best tight end nationally and 174th overall prospect in the country. He chose Miami over offers from Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, Rutgers, Wisconsin, Auburn, Cincinnati, Colorado, Duke, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, Missouri, Stanford, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, from Ball State, Kent State, Ohio, Toledo and Western Michigan.
Schott will be a redshirt freshman in 2026 and has four seasons of eligibility remaining.
According to 247Sports’ transfer rankings, Schott is a three-star prospect ranked as the 20th best tight end transfer in the portal.
