India’s dominance against West Indies on day three

India’s overwhelming dominance was evident throughout the third day as the visitors struggled to counter the wide-ranging Indian attack. West Indies, who trailed by 270 runs after their first innings ended at 248, managed to add only 81 runs while losing 9 wickets in the 81.5 overs played on the third day. The strong batting performance of Shubman Gilremained undefeated on 129, alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal‘s 175, laid the foundation for India’s lead in the first innings, which the bowlers sustained emphatically. India enforced a follow-on against West Indies for their second innings.
