They’re meant to be together in every way, and with Anya doing what she can to make her fake family real, they might just get together after all.

The protagonist of the series doesn’t meet the girl he has a crush on. Instead, he is paired with the most attractive girl in school. It’s a hilarious problem that could only happen in anime, but the series does a great job of making the most of its ridiculous premise.

The angel next door spoils me rotten hits the mark with its title. The titular Angel does a great job of caring for the protagonist in a way that everyone dreams of. The protagonist, Amane Fujimiya, does a great job treating Mahiru Shiina like the angel everyone knows she is.

Wotakoi: Love is difficult for Otaku has no business being as adorable as she is. It’s a heartwarming series from the very first episode, and somehow it only gets better from there. The characters are the stars of the show, highlighting the most awkward aspects of human life in the cutest way possible.
The two main characters are otakus at heart. Narumi Momose tries to keep her otaku addiction to herself, but when she meets her childhood best friend Hirotaka Nifuji at her new job, she realizes that being open about what she likes may not be as bad as she thinks.

While there are a ton of unrealistic romance anime out there, Blue box stands out for its reality. This may be one of the most realistic romantic anime series ever made, and that’s why every moment is so visceral. Taiki Inomata is caught in the love triangle of the century, and the poor teenager has a lot of work to do to figure it out.
Most romantic anime series only show the peaks of romance. Blue box is ambitious in its efforts to show romance as it really is, highs and lows included. There are times when Taiki doubts himself, doubts that his crush likes him, and has to find the courage to say some of the hardest things one person has to say to another.

Look Jump & Moccasin it’s like drinking a glass of cold water on a hot summer day. It’s relaxing, refreshing and uplifting in the best way possible. Basically, Jump & Moccasin is an incredibly simple series that takes its down-to-earth premise to new heights.
The franchise stars Mitsumi Iwakura as a country girl who transfers to a big city high school. She’s overwhelmed most of the time, but with her aunt, new friends, and handsome classmate Sōsuke Shima, life might be a lot nicer in Tokyo than Mitsumi thought.

My darling costume features a near-perfect romance between its main characters. There’s no doubt that Marin Kitagawa and Wakana Gojo are meant for each other, and Marin knows it. She’s one of the best girls in anime and her incredibly outgoing attitude is infectious.
Marin and Wakana have almost too much in common. They both love the world of cosplay and each occupy different sides of it. Wakana loves creating costumes and Marin can’t wait to try them on. Together, they are two peas in a pod and two characters destined to be together.

A sign of affection stars Yuki Itose as a 19-year-old student suffering from congenital deafness. She has lived her life in her shell, but when she meets Itsuomi Nagi, her whole life is turned upside down. She finds someone she wants to know more about and the series navigates their blossoming relationship beautifully.

To call Horimia a staple of the romance genre would be an understatement. It’s so good that it has become a template for all upcoming romance anime, and it’s not hard to say that there may not be another romance anime series like it.
Horimia is perfect in his efforts. It doesn’t try to be something that it isn’t, and there isn’t a single moment in the series that feels like it’s too much. It’s the perfect depiction of a character’s very first relationship, and the series is filled with some of the art form’s most enjoyable personalities.
