In Rubber Game against M’s, the Red Sox turn to Garrett Crochet

Thanks to the Cal Raleigh and Bryan Woo batteries, the Seattle Mariners will have the chance to win their three -game series against the Boston Red Sox on a visit.
Raleigh struck his 27th season’s 27th circuit at the head of the major leagues, a big slam, and added a double of two points while Woo launched seven goals without a ball at once while the mariners leveled the series with an 8-0 victory against the Red Sox on Tuesday evening.
The decisive match of the series is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, when the left-hander of Red Sox Garrett Crochet (6-4, 2.24 ERA) should take the mound against the right-handed of sailors Luis Castillo (4-4, 3.29).
Raleigh released a collapse of 4 for 27 when he chose the first round, then completed a slam against Walker Buehler in the second round of five points. He doubled at home two other points in a fourth of three points.
The Homer moved Raleigh above the New York Yankees Judge for first place in the majors.
“What can you say about Cal … He was incredible,” said Mariners manager Dan Wilson. “And caught a bleaching to start.”
Woo, who was 0-3 in his last four departures, gave it a simple to the recruit Marcelo Mayer in the fifth. He walked two and attracted six while launching at least six rounds again, which he did during his 14 departures this season.
“It is this plug when we need a big game of our starter,” said Raleigh about Woo. “And he presents himself each time – Mr. Coherent.”
As for Raleigh’s own achievements?
“It’s great, but you know, just trying to keep your head down,” said Raleigh. “The minute you are looking for your eyes and start to admire (everything), that’s when the game will come to put you in your place.”
Although he has won six of his last seven games, the Red Sox did not score more than four points during any competition in this section. Their offensive production should not improve after exchanging the disgruntled knock Rafael Devers, three times All-Star, to the Giants of San Francisco on Sunday.
“(The programming) feels good,” said the left field player of the Red Sox, Jarren Duran. “We won (2-0 Monday) and (Tuesday) was just one of those days when you meet a big launcher and he does his thing.
“I do not think that anyone thinks too much (Devers). We are simply focused on the team we have now, and we will continue to ride.”
Crochet did not get a decision on Friday against New York Yankees in a match that the Red Sox host won 2-1 in 10 rounds. He gave a point on four strokes in 8 1/3 rounds, with a walk and seven stick withdrawals.
Hook, which had won its last two departures, has a 0-2 sheet with a 4.96 MPM in five career appearances (three departures) against Seattle. He lost against the navy visiting on April 24 after authorizing four points on five strokes and five steps with nine stick withdraws in five rounds.
Castillo has been without victory in four departures since May 19, although it has only 0-1 with an MPM of 3.52 in this period. He did not make a decision in the 7-2 victory of Seattle against the Cleveland Guardians visiting Friday, despite only two points on three strokes in six rounds. He walked three and recorded a summit of seven stick withdrawals.
Castillo has a 2-2 sheet with a 4.91 MPM in four lifetime starts against Boston.
