Ahead of the November 15 deadline for teams to decide on their retention, take a look at PBKS’s potential retention list ahead of IPL 2026.

PBKS had a revolutionary IPL 2025, but it must be said that they too need to make some changes to their current roster. There are some players who should leave, while most others should stay, because of the impact they had during the season. InsideSport takes a look at the PBKS retention list predicted for IPL 2026.

Retention list predicted by PBKS for IPL 2026

Shreyas Iyer: He is perhaps the best captain in the IPL. He not only led KKR to a trophy last year but also this year ensured that PBKS entered the playoffs after a decade.

Archdeep Singh: He had 21 wickets in 17 matches and was certainly their best bowler. It has justified its price of 18 Cr and will stay for sure.

Marcus Stoinis: He hasn’t had the best season with the bat or the ball, but he’s a game-changer. He remains for his effectiveness in batting and bowling.

Shashank Singh: The fifty-year-olds ensured that he had an excellent season. In 17 matches, he scored 350 points with an average of 50. He stays.

Prabhsimran Singh: 17 matches and 549 points. He scored these runs at an average of 32 and a strike rate of 160. He went on to score four fifties.

Harpreet Brar: It wasn’t the most economical, but he managed to pick up 10 wickets in eight matches. This is enough for him to keep his place.

Vijay Kumar Vyshak: He did not have a good season with four wickets in five matches. The economy was up at 10.64. He’s still a good bowler.

Yash Thakur: Was only used for two matches in the season, but he can serve the team for a few more years.

Marco Jansen: 14 matches and 16 wickets only increases the South African’s stock. He’s also a good hitter, so he should be retained.

Josh Inglis: He scored 278 points in 11 matches and the average was over 30. He played a pivotal role.

Lockie Ferguson: He could only manage four matches and was injured. But it’s a total asset.

Azmatullah Omarzai: One of the best all-rounders in world cricket. He has picked up eight wickets and can score a few runs as well.

Kuldeep Sen: He was expensive, but he is a wicket-taker. He could make a difference if he gets enough opportunities.

Priyansh Arya: Was in the running for the orange cap at one point. He scored 475 points in his very first season. He went on to score a ton and two fifties.

Suryansh Shed: Only played three matches in the season without any impact. That said, he has all the talent to be a world-class all-around player.

Xavier Bartlett: He is making an impact in the IND vs AUS ODI series, and his exploits will not go unnoticed. He will benefit from better luck next season.

Pravin Dubé: He can be a good leg player. But for now, he can be a good back-up bowler for the team.

Nehal Wadhera: 369 points in 16 matches, and he took care of their middle order quite well. He has scored two fifties and next season he might have a bigger role to play.
