That said, Rodrygo is in no way their only option, Berta holding “many talks” on many targets, including the star of Atalanta Ademola Lookman.
The Nigerian would be assessed at around 42 million pounds sterling, which could prove to be a good deal given his exploits in Serie A in the last two seasons.

Wright also urged Arsenal to sign Lookman before the start of next season, explaining exactly why he thinks that the African would do an excellent work under Arteta.
“I’m going to go with Ademola Lookman winning the African player of the year with regard to this man’s trip,” said Wright.
“I remember him from Charlton, it did not work, 10 million pounds sterling in Everton, then by moving everywhere, the trip of the loan to this, then I think it is one of the most devastating performances that I saw in the final with this triple that he marked.
“I hope we can buy it, Arsenal. I would like someone like him back in the Premier League and say: “Listen, I have unfinished business here, so I will help Arsenal win the League”.
“But I just admire his trip, and now he is rightly recognized as a better player, incredible.”
